Biometric recognition – V-FACE is an automatic recognition
system that detects human faces by converting the facial features into a biometric map . It is used to deliver access control in applications with high security standards.
Performance – V-FACE creates a biometric map in just 0,7 seconds, while ensuring that the subject images is compliant with the ICAO standard.
Data and Communications – Biometric recognition maps the facial image into a vector trace that does not represent the individual’s picture and from which the facial image cannot be reconstructed. Traces can be stored on the local memory and sent to an external supervision system that centralizes accesses, allowing to manage more units from a single point.
Installation and settings – V-FACE standard model is suited for indoor installations. Outdoor configurations are also available on demand (IP66 version). Design is polished and elegant; set up is intuitive and fast: the system can be made operative by configuring just few basic parameters.

V-FACE provides a high-end IP-based biometric face recognition system, compliant with privacy constraints and delivering one of the highest performance levels presently available in the market. V-FACE performs face recognition in 0,7sec ICAO deactivated or 1,3 sec ICAO activated; 0.0001sec for each comparison with the biometric traces in the database with an average identification rate of 95%.
An intuitive web GUI makes it easy to configure operating parameters, vision and communication features, FPM (False Positive Matching) and FNM (False Negative Matching) levels. It features effortless management of white/black lists, as well as a statistical analysis of detections. Data is provided in CSV and highly optimized formats and securely stored locally or in a remote FTP server.
