Automatic software for detecting objects (blobs) that move in a panoramic image and are followed and zoomed by using a speed dome camera that automatically tracks them. The algorithm needed to use of 1-2 fixed cameras that control an area within which, if a movement is detected by the blob motion tracking algorithm, the moving object is immediately traced by the automatic pointing and zoomed by a speed dome camera. The function allows to perform a video verification of the intruder object to understand immediately whether or not the same is a real threat.
