Based on the video analysis that detects vehicle displacement in the image, v-LANE is capable to estimate its speed with a percentage of error around 10%. This survey allows you to have a reliable guidance on the trend of average speeds traffic throughout the day.
This data can highlight the moment when the road are congestionated, when all average transit speeds are lowered, or, for example, during nighttime, the traffic usually exceeds the speed limits of the roadway and produce dangerous situations.
