Xscanner is a web/cloud based software application , simple and intuitive, is dedicated to the management of  plate reading cameras from which it collects data related to vehicle transits, centralizing the information in a single setting.
Channel all information in a single point allows Xscanner to perform complex data analysis and research in order to make strategic decisions in the management of urban roads, speed up investigative actions and increase public safety accordingly.

What is the purpose of reading the plates? To make fines? Wrong!

Often the world of traffic management is conditioned by its past and it has difficulty to adapt to the new paradigms that Industry 4.0 is introducing.
Traffic control devices are evolving from simple plate readers to complex video analysis systems capable of generating large amounts of data and information, in particular the Traffic division’s Vigilate devices can: count machines, recognize models, understand colors and size, read the goods transported and record journey times.
How to manage all this information in a practical and effective way? This is the aim of x-SCANNER, to centralize, organize and make accessible in a simple way for anyone, all the traffic-related information coming from our territory.

And this is aimed at who?

x-SCANNER is aimed to all security operators such as local police, law enforcement officers, protection and rescueworkers and all private and public administrators who can draw useful ideas to make decisions, example they might be interested in understanding if the means that wear out, pollute, disturb the streets of its territory are means of transit, people who do not stop and do not consume local goods and services, useful information to ask for facilitations and aid.
Nonetheless, all the tourism and transport operators that with local marketing can enhance the data, understand the potential value in terms of trade and business of the different areas of the territory, understand the origin and the road habits of the people who circulate on the differents arteries.

Accessible

the platform is always accessible from all places and on all popular devices such as smartphones. tablets, desktop PCs and laptops, but also from large control and supervision centers.

Interforce

The data must be usable by everyone, I can not detect a dangerous vehicle in my territory and I can not share this information with all those who have to deal with the operational action in the field, x-SCANNER is able to manage the different authorization policies and user access to allow a shared use between local police, local administrators, technical offices, provincial and regional structures, ministries, carabinieri, firemen, civil protection etc …

The data generated by the devices are and will always be more. The scalable structure of x-SCANNER allows you to collect and manage them in a larger data center, ensuring high speeds data access.

Multifunction

The purposes of a license plate reader are many:

  • sanctionig (audit, insurance)
  • territory control (known and suspicious vehicles that travel in the territory, dealers etc ..)
  • investigative (research and control of behavior over time)
  • statistic (thematic reports and graphs)

Statistic

How many cars are running in our villages? How many trucks are there? What dangerous goods transit on the roads of our territory? Where do they circulate more?  Pass near our schools or our tourist centers? Are dangerous goods transiting together that could interact dangerously between themselves?
These and other are the questions to which the statistics service x-SCANNER, v-ANALITICS can answer.

Interconnected

There can not be an effective strategy without data sharing. x-SCANNER allows diffusion and integration with other data and other systems through the most widespread protocols and formats such as: SQL, Excel, Oracle, Text, XML, Json.
Thanks to dedicated modules, x-SCANNER can communicate with ANIA, SCNTT, tourism agencies, ministry of transport.

  • Searches for vehicles through the plate number even if it is incomplete.
  • Views all details of OCR images, context images and transit data of the wanted plates.
  • Searches for a vehicle by type (motorcycles, cars, lorry without trailer, lorry with trailer).
  • Manages lists of groups of vehicles associated with alarm and reporting via SMS and email.
  • Searches for a vehicle using the ADR code (Kemler) related to heavy vehicles transporting dangerous goods (explosive, corrosive, special pollutants to the environment, radioactive).
  • Searches by type of ADR code.
  • Manages alarm events with ADR code or specific ADR code category.
  • Reports wanted vehicles by SMS or email.
  • XWall client module for local PC for the simultaneous opening of a large number of video streams (fixed guard).
  • Produces advanced reports for the study of traffic conditions and traffic flows.
  • Performs the partial and consolidated count of the number of transited vehicles , also divided by single type of vehicle.
  • Displays graphs of the average crossing speed of the passage on a time basis.
  • Categorizes vehicles (cars, motor vehicles, mopeds and heavy vehicles).
  • Categorizes the plate numbers by country (all European countries, GCC, UAE, Australia, Canada, China, North Africa, Latin America).
  • Calculates the time spent by vehicles inside the resideantial area.
  • Displays the age of the vehicle fleet classified on an annual basis.
  • Classifies the vehicles according to the polluting class EURO (The classification by year of registration and EURO class are active even in the absence of connection to external databases).
  • Makes comparative tables of Origin and Destination.
