Professional Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) products, with an excellent price / performance ratio. A dedicated embedded architecture integrates on-board hardware and software to maximize the recognition rate.
The OCR library is optimized for the v-PLATE architecture and guarantees an actual readout rate of up to 60 images per second. The integrated IR LED illuminator ensures a constant recognition performance in any lighting conditions.

Thanks to the Ethernet, 3G or wifi connectivity, v-PLATE can be seamlessly integrated in existing communication networks.
Open protocols as RPC, HTTP, FTP allow simple integration with other subsystems and supervisors. v-PLATE is currently integrated with Everyware Cloud, the IoT platform by Eurotech, with XPlate and XTraffic traffic platforms, with Xentinel the security Cloud supervisor.

v-LANE Context is a compact, elegant and high-performance IP-based license plate recognition system.
Plate detection from incoming vehicles can be accomplished without the use of induction coils  or other sources of external input.
Based on cutting edge algorithms, v-LANE Context features a one of the best recognition rates, thus ensuring extreme reliability.
An intuitive web GUI makes it easy to configure operating parameters and to manage access and warning lists as well as providing statistical analysis of detections. Plate data and images can be stored locally on internal memory, sent to a remote FTP supervisor or to the Xentinel platform.
v-LANE Context can be used as a security camera and provides a realtime color video streaming H264 storable on-board or on a CCTV system.

OCR Library

v-PLATE products feature a powerful built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) library optimized to get maximum recognition speed.
The OCR algorithm is based on a mixed mathematical / Neural approach that guarantees top recognition quality.
The library can handle the recognition of both of Western characters (Latin) and Arabic license plates (mixed Arabic + Latin).
The library is also able to recognize the layout and syntax of the characters read in order to identify of the nation of origin of the recognized plate.

PERFORMANCES

Speed

v-PLATE is able to read license plates in Free-Running up to 150Km/h maintaining a constant the percentage of recognition.
The OCR v-PLATE library was tested against the UNI10772 norm by the INRIM Institute of Turin scoring a 99.84% recognition rate.

View Width

The v-PLATE products have been designed to work on a single lane. It is recommended, for best recognition results, to limit the width of the field of view to 5m, in which case the IR lighting level and the recognition rate remain unaltered even at the image edges.

View Angle

v-PLATE is able to keep the same recognition performance with tilt angles up to 50° horizontally and vertically with respect to the plate to be detected. This characteristic offers a considerable flexibility during the installation, whereas a thorough suite of statistical reports on operations eases the setup and tuning phases.

v-PLATE ANPR cameras, exploiting the native cloud connectivity, can be used to seamlessly implement traffic control systems for applications like journey time and average speed measurement. Management Platform

v-PLATE products can be connected to the Everyware Cloud IoT platform to share data and images, to manage upgrades and configurations directly from the Cloud.
Data available from the Everyware Cloud can be used by system integrators to build the applications and services required by their customers.
Everyware Cloud has no limits in the scalability of number of connected systems, storage, bandwidth and simultaneous client connections Customers pay a monthly fee per connected device and used storage.
